Kapiolani Park

The primary recreational center
of Honolulu. Normal weekend happenings include cultural
events, dance/ music activities
and arts & crafts shows.

The Royal Hawaiian Band,
the only full time municipal band
in the country, is a Sunday
afternoon attraction.

The park also features
tennis courts, football fields,
an archery range & picnic areas. Being adjacent to the beach,
local families often mix park
picnics with ocean swims.
