You want to live here? Great. Many people do. This includes ourselves. However, here are a few realities. Islands have limited land for housing. Supply and Demand laws favor the seller. This means the buyer pays more.

If you want to talk to a Professional then call one of the Realtors on our Professional Realtor page. They will be happy to answer any of your questions.

Also, Honolulu is an expensive place to live. As Oahu is an Island, virtually everything we eat or drink; sleep on or sit on or ride on; live in or use, comes by boat or plane from another place . . . a distant place. If the thing itself did not, then certainly its parts did. For this reason, people who live on islands PAY MORE than people who live on the mainland.

Here are some prices from a nearby store. There are cheaper stores. There are more expensive stores. This prices were recorded in our survey on Oct 01, 2008.
1 Gallon Milk $9.49 White Bread 16 oz Loaf $3.55
1/2 Gallon Orange Juice $6.53 1 Dozen Eggs $2.99
