Bus/2.5 hours/ 70 RMB/Guanggdong Province Bus Station to Zhuhai's Gongbei Bus Station. If going on to Macau, just walk across street to border.

Gambling Mecca of Asia.

Overnight Train/16 hours/SoftSleeperAC/385RMB/Main Station. Train to Jishou, Hunan. At station, take minibus (1 hour/13RMB) to Fenghuang.

The I Love Gaungzhou adventurers has known this place for years. Although its a backpacker fun place with a Hawaii Bar and 150 hostels, the Lonely Planet team has yet to 'discover" it. So, there are virtually no foreigners.

Just remember, it snows in Fenghuang in the winter, so dress warm & bring extra clothes, in the space you normally reserve for the bulky tourist book.

Overnight Train/ - Main Train Station. Train to Guilin, for Yangshu, take 1 hour minibus to Yangshu; or take overnight bus directly to Yangshu. If you have limited time and/or less limited funds, then fly to Guilin.
